My level 50 character (Guac) dancing naked out front of Black Temple!
For those who don't know geek wow shit, Black Temple is the current endgame instance. I'm nowhere near attempting this place and won't be for a long time. People in raiding guilds kept running up to me and laughing or dancing with me. It was pretty fun.
If you want to know the secret of how i got there without dying 394384 times, I just had brad recruit-a-friend summon me. Haha.
By the way, I'm leveling a nelf druid on Eldre'Thalas so i can play with Adam, Rob, Dave & co. Dunno if anyone else I know plays on that server, but if so, come say hi (her name is tribade LAWL). So far leveling a druid has been going terribly, especially since i'm used to the horde areas, but i'll keep at it. :/ |

6:30am and I still haven't slept. I was thinking about walking over to McDonalds and getting hotcakes because of a sudden craving, but then I remembered I'm not in Cali anymore so i can't act on my random late night fast food impulses. It's FREEZING cold and rainy outside. So yeah, faaak that.
I applied to become a volunteer here. Really excited about it. Also the Open Closet coordinator for the aids committee of London contacted me looking for help, so I've got an orientation to go to for that. I'd love it if they picked me up.
I'm going to apply to the women's shelter here too, and maybe somewhere working with kids. I need to get myself out there more.

It's lol because it's true. I don't understand why a lot of women feel obligated to dress "sexy". It's halloween! Ditch sexy for SCARY! (Or maybe stupid.)
I'm making my own crappy costume out of torn up clothes and cheap make-up. I'm gonna be a zombie! I'll spike up my hair and (fake) dye it purple too. Hoooopefully it will look as cool as i'm imagining it will, but considering the amount of money i'm putting into it...prolly not.

WoW players have a pretty nasty stereotype on them in general, but I love how the people who play each race are broken down into their own separate hilarious stereotypes!
Humans = Older players/pedos
Undead = Goths
Tauren = Furries
Dwarves = Fat people
Night Elves = Homosexuals, mostly lesbians. That or younger (whiny) girls.
Gnomes = ?? (Not sure on this one.)
Trolls = Stoners
Orcs = Hardcore elitist gamers
Blood Elves = Anime-loving weeaboos who OD on pocky and name their toon "Sephiroth"
Draenei = Hm. I don't know about this one, but i personally think it should be the offical lesbian race instead of nelf because the women are really sexy. I wonder if that makes me a furry? :x
Undead are my favorite race and my main is a Belf, so i guess not only am i a fat social reject retard with no life, i'm also a goth/animetard. :C

Man, the testing for that job was nuts. I'll be very shocked if I get it. I'm shocked at the fact I even got selected for the interview! Out of over 900 applicants for one opening I was one of like 7 picked. WTF?! I was the only person under 40 in the room.
Hey, if I do get the job, I'll get to wear a sexy cop-ish uniform. ;D |

Bah, my lip ring closed up on me.
I was eating salad, I bit down on the pressure ball and it fell out. I went to the piercer and got a new one, but I guess it was too big and too loose. I think it managed to separate in my sleep, and so the hole on the inside of my lip didn't have anything keeping it open. I went all day thinking it was fine, but then when i tried to move my ring i noticed I just couldn't. :/ I've been poking at it since, hoping to re-open it or something, but i think it's just done for. I even seem to have a keloid there now.
Man it didn't even get to fully heal. :(
Well there goes my days of being cool i guess. Back to plain boring old nat. |

I have a potential job offer with Canadian border control. I'm really excited about it. If I do get it, it will be a fantastic opportunity to move up in the Canadian Government. I will also be making MAD MONEY. I have to do all kinds of testing before they even think about hiring me, but I feel pretty confident with my skillz.
I'd have to move to Sarnia though, but that's not really a big deal. It's about an hour away. Also I want to escape my family asap. (Love 'em, i'm just getting too old.)
I think if I get it, if there actually are any mexicans that want to live here in canada, i'll make sure they get in. We need good mexican food dammit! I don't ever want to eat taco bell AGAIN. Hahaha.
Now my eyes are burning, so I should sleep.

1. What are your nicknames?
Nat is the big one. I picked up Natnat, and I think it was wired_clover who started it. colonel_froggie would call me nt or ntlie when we were dating, but i forget how that even started now... and i think that's it!
2. What do you do before bedtime?
Brush my teeth and get into PJs, sometimes read.
3. What fandom(s) are you most into at the moment?
It would be a toss between X-Men (revisiting the animated series) and Final Fantasy. Those two are always strong with me.
4. What is your favorite scent?

Really, i'd say Ontario in the fall and baking brownies.
5. What’s your favorite game ever?
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Hands down, It will always be my favorite game. It's the game that made me a gamer. But... I feel like some other games need mentions too.
WoW is pretty big for me now. I'm not shitting in socks yet so stop freaking out at me, I just enjoy it casually. It's probably my favorite game at the moment.
I go back to the Final Fantasy games a lot. I should also mention Banjo-Kazooie and any of the kirby games too.
6. What book you are reading now?
I haven't read anything other than graphic novels in a while...
7. Do you trust easily?
Yeah. I generally trust people unless they give me a reason to not, but even then i'm pretty forgiving. I'm easy going, so yeah.

This year by far. Last year was a bad time for me, and it was about this time then that things got even worse. This year has been great for personal development, maturity, i feel more comfortable in my own skin. I'm happy overall with almost everything.
9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
Yeah, family issues. I won't elaborate on that.

Ignorance probably, but that's a pretty cliche answer... so i'll mention people cracking bones around me. *shudder*

A plush Simba. I still cling onto him every night, haha. For some reason I can't sleep unless i'm cuddling something, and Simba has always worked.

I want to move out, become 100% self-sufficient, land a really good job. I think those are the biggest things for me. I'd like to get my ass back to California too.

Sleeping. It's after 5am. Shouldn't have had an energy drink...

Ugh, I can feel myself getting really sick. It sucks. I'm also in a really bad mood...
But at least I have a mount in WoW now.
It's a big ugly dead horse. I named it Rickets.
Urdu has become my BG character now though, i'm making Guac the hunter my main. She's only at level 11 so i've got a long haul ahead, but whatever. Today I got her a pet, it's a lion-thing I named Taquito. Haha. Can you tell how much i miss mexican food?
Hunter is less stressing than Rogue. I can sit back and eat a sandwich during battle instead of spamming buttons like mad, haha.
Urdu will forever be way cooler than Guac though. Belfs are bitches.

Yesterday I had my first pap test. Wee. I can sum up the entire experience with the emoticon: O.O
But it wasn't as painful or embarrassing as i thought it would be. I felt fine when i remembered that the doctor sees maybe a million cooches a day, so mine isn't special. Whatever.
Despite all my burrito eating and lazing around playing WoW, i've lost like 6 pounds. It's pretty bad. I'm down to 114, which is low-average for my height, but i'm concerned about it still. I used to be a little over 120 even as little as a month ago. I have NO IDEA what happened. Blugh.
Anyway, nothing especially new or interesting to report, canada is the same as I left it pretty much. I haven't been out partying much because i have no money and little desire to. Instead i've been going out for coffee, walks, and sitting in here playing WoW with brad. I'm okay with how things are, life is good.
My dad is really the only problem, he's gotten even more zany than ever. You should see what he's done to the house! It looks like he put a blindfold on, turned on some swing music, then danced around the house with a sledge hammer in hand. I'm not even exaggerating at all. There's a toilet in the middle of our living room and half our kitchen has been ripped out. There is no stove and the fridge is in the dining room. None of our bathrooms have sinks so i have to use the bath to wash my hands. That's not even half of the disaster... oof. I feel bad for him more than anything, but he's difficult to deal with.

I've caught a cold. Blah. I always get sick around this time because of the fluctuating temperature. It's death for my immune system.
London in the fall is really lovely though. The air smells awesome (like burning wood and dead leaves), and the trees look gorgeous as they turn different shades of red and orange. I just wish it would stay warm for a bit longer...ugh, winter looms.
